Sustainability Policy

The aim of the von Eicken Group is to strengthen sustainability in its own business activities and to improve its contribution to promote sustainability along the supply and value chains.In order to consolidate past efforts and achieve targets in a structured manner, the company is setting up a sustainability management system. To achieve continuous improvement, the companies in the von Eicken Group strive to implement the following points:

1. We want to define suitable targets and measures at corporate management level in order to achieve national and international climate targets.
2. We want to provide the necessary financial and structural conditions to achieve the targets set.
3. We want to assess the performance of sustainability management and the degree of target attainment at regular intervals.
4. We proactively seek measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the recyclability of our products.
5. We strive to prevent infringements of human rights and fundamental employee rights wherever possible along our supply and value chains and to define suitable measures in the event of risks.
6. Together with our employees, we want to develop and implement measures to promote cooperation.
7. We make all the necessary information available to employees and aim to make it available to interested parties upon request.
8. We endeavour to assess and comply with all relevant sustainability-related legal requirements and guidelines.
